Davide’s recent work draws inspiration from macro photographs he took of David Bowie's eyes back in 1997. Together, they were experimenting with ideas surrounding inner and outer vision - the ‘light of consciousness’ - and the cosmic light intelligence that gives birth to our physical reality.

These new works reflect this exploration and a deep sense of wonder at the miraculous qualities of light. They possess an extremely powerful presence, transmitting an intimate essence of the 'visionary' aspects of the mind. Each BOW-EYE work is totally unique and is constructed through the intricate union of several artistic processes, including Chromogenic printing, hand scribed sacred symbols with ancient power words rendered in 18ct gold ink, and intricate metal castings. 

Each unique artwork serves as a window into the magical realm of the imagination - mysterious, beautiful and compelling, enriching the viewer and the space they inhabit with a vibrant, life affirming energy.
